What is a stove guard?

A stove guard - sometimes called a cooker cut off device - is comprised of a sensor and a controller.

In the event of a dangerous situation, the sensor will instruct the controller to disconnect the power to the hob/stove.

However, not all devices marketed as a stove guard provide the ideal level of protection. Airis is by far the most advanced in this area.
